My beautiful heart was on rent,

By those ‘friends’ who treated it like a tent!

I was lost, they made me more miserable,

They thought I was so easily destructible!

Entangled in the loop of regret, hatred, and guilt,

The multilayered, iron-walled cocoon I had built!

One day, I had an epiphany-

How I had become my own enemy!

I had a Tête-à-tête with the Universe,

The fairies, the pixies, the elves-so diverse!

They whispered to me about the magic-

Nothing is permanent, nothing is tragic

They asked me to hold on, not to be afraid of the thorns,

And I was so told; Oh girl! you are unique as the unicorns!

The forgot that resilience is in my blood,

Invincible I am, cometh the frost or flood!

The vibes were spot on, I dislodged the unworthy tenants,

The task was daunting, yet liberating; I erased the remnants!

Now, My heart is a home, full of hope and amour,

Privileged are the ones to reside; Rent? No more!

connoisseur day- Antiquity is an appreciating asset of the wine,

Likewise, the annals of time have toughened me; I am gonna shine!
